We are a quick service cafe offering fresh Mexican cuisine in a modern, casual atmosphere. También is the first of its kind in Amador County by providing fresh taqueria style Mexican food to the area. También offers the best tacos and burritos around. All our dishes are fresh and handcrafted with no artificial ingredients or lard. We use aromatic herbs, fresh chiles, vibrant tomatoes, and a varieties of tomatillos. Our ambrosial salsas are made from scratch, and we offer several varieties daily that are complimentary with your meal. The menu includes an array of dishes including quesadillas, tostadas, and sopes. The environment is family friendly and offers the fast food idea with dine in style comfort. We have outdoor seating for those wishing to enjoy our mild climate. For those on the go, call ahead to place your order and pick it up at our 'drive thru pick up window'. We can have your food ready in ten minutes!
Our specialty beer menu is incredible! We offer over 40 types of beer including 6 on draft. The draft beer consists of six rotating beers (seasonals, Matt's favorites, and requests) that we suggest you "taste before you buy". Our bottle beer selection consists of Cucapa in Mexico to Brother Thelonious in Fort Bragg over to Scottish Belhaven and many in between.
también [tam-be-en’] is the Spanish word for too, also. It was created by Matt and Kimberly Andrae who are the proprietors of Andrae's Bakery in Amador City (hence, the too, also). All the food and concepts were developed by the Andrae's along with their consultant John Littlewood and chef Alberto Tamayo.
Customers may rent también for special occasions. It is available on Sundays (day or evening) and Tuesdays (evenings). Call us and we can put together a quote for you. We also have a catering menu that is great for offices, parties, and meetings.
